If Field 1 had lights, they would have had to come on for this nail biter. Great pitching efforts from both teams! Meghan Prescott and Courtney Clairmont combined to strike out 6 FGD batters. These pitchers couldn't have asked for more from their catchers - Jordan Sargent and Shelby Spaulding caught 3 runners out at the plate. In the field, it was Shannon Davies and Jasmin Clairmont who stopped everything hit to the right side.

Sydney Perry led the team going 2 for 2 with a double and a single, while scoring 2 runs. Courtney Clairmont and Shelby Spaulding weren't far behind going 3 for 4 with 3 singles and 3 runs scored. Meghan Prescott walked all three times she was up to bat - scoring 2 runs. With the score tied in the bottom of the fourth inning, it was Renee Fleck's speed and solid base running that scored the winning run on a pass ball.
