Playing on a grass infield didn’t slow the Belmont Police players down at all!

These girls came ready to WIN!!!

Jasmin Clairmont started the game with a solo home-run – her first of the season! 

Although Belmont Police’s big bats were a little quiet – Sydney Perry, Mariah Watson, Hayleigh Ford and Courtney Valenze stepped up and were perfect on the night – each going 2 for 2.

The defense was solid again this game.  Cheyanne Carey played the pitcher position extremely well – catching a line drive and making a play to get the runner out a first.  Mariah Watson and Jordan Sargent shared the catching duties – each of them made great throws back to the pitcher.

The game was called with 2 outs in the bottom of the fourth when the sprinklers popped out of the ground and started spraying Belmont Police while in the field!!!  It was a good laugh for everyone!
